Your cable provider - Cable Modems are generaly cheaper, but the reliability of the line is not as good as the DSL lines from your local phone compnay. 

If you can get your DSL from www.Covad.net, we highly recommend it.

www.Netzero.com Cheap and reliable

www.Earthlink.com More expensive, a little more reliable
